I currently work as a Systems Analyst/Developer for Citigroup and have been with them for more than a decade, developing in C, perl, ksh, and sql in a UNIX environment. Before that, I had a hat trick in partial degrees, having studied over 160 hours in Electrical Engineering, Technical Theatre, and Graphic Design. However, with the rising cost of education and since I don't have a hat full of money, I don't forsee completing a formal education anytime soon. I've certainly learned more practical knowledge from self-education since then.
My current time-eater is Distributed Proofreaders, where as a volunteer systems administrator and proofreader I am able to put my skills to use as part of a very active global online community. The grey tiger at left is my avatar there.
In the rest of my free time (hah) I sometimes compose music or just noodle on the guitar or piano, code, doodle some artwork, or just lounge on the sofa watching TV. I also love to cook.
