KWSN Genome Project News October 25, 2001 -- 12 midnight EDT update: 29 members contributed 3618 wu's today, bringing our 7 day production total to 25594 wu's. The long-anticipated stats revision is likely to happen tomorrow. A peak under the tent reveals that we will remain in 12th position and, in fact, will be closer than ever to the Top 10. Not bad, eh? There are many member milestones in recent days. I will post them on the UBB. October 22, 2001 -- 12 midnight EDT update: 29 members contributed 3796 wu's today, bringing our 7 day production total to 28432 wu's. We had 44 active members over this time period. DPC passed us today and moved into 11th position. Currently, they lead us by several hundred shrubs. October 21, 2001 -- 12 midnight EDT update: For the day 32 members contributed 1841 wu's, bringing our 7 day total to 27337 wu's with 47 active members. Several days ago we captured 11th position. Congratulations to everyone! Welcome to all the new members who joined the team over the past week. Ni! October 16, 2001 -- 12 midnight EDT update: Once again, Stanford failed to update the team stats at 12am and combined that period with 3am. As a result, our production numbers are an approximation. For the day 26 members contributed 1889 wu's, making our 7 day production total 30129 wu's. Congratulations to KWSN_cindy who reached the 4000 shrub milestone today. October 15, 2001 -- 12 midnight EDT update: Stanford didn't update at 12 midnight EDT then combined 2 update periods at 3am EDT. As a result, the following numbers are an approximation of our production and are reasonably accurate but not precise. The same is true on the web page that lists our historical production. For the day 29 members contributed 3012 wu's. Our 7 day total production stands at 30027 wu's with 40 active members. October 14, 2001 -- 12 midnight EDT update: We had a strong production day with 31 members contributing 8791 wu's. For the 7 day period 38 members contributed 30440 wu's. October 13, 2001 -- 12 midnight EDT update: 28 members contributed 2099 wu's today, bringing our 7 day production total to 23793 wu's. We had 36 active members over the past week. October 5, 2001 -- 12 midnight EDT update: We had a very good day with 29 members contributing 5478 wu's. This raises our 7 day production to a record 47005 wu's. 41 members contributed to this production. Also, today we passed the 300,000 shrub milestone. October 4, 2001 -- 12 midnight EDT update: We maintained our hold on 12th position today with 26 members contributing 3202 wu's. Our 7 day production total is 43374 wu's coming from 38 active members. Congratulations to KWSN_Mr Punctual who passed the 1500 shrub milestone today. October 3, 2001 -- 12 midnight EDT update: Today was a record-breaking day in several regards. First, we set an all-time 24 hour production record with 13000 wu's contributed by 27 members. Second, our 7 day production total is also at an all-time high of 46356 with 37 active members. Finally, we passed DPC today and moved into 12th place in the overall standings. October 2, 2001 -- 12 midnight EDT update: We finished the day in 13th position, having yielded that position to France during the midday, then recapturing it at the last update. Our 7 day production total is an all-time record with 37 members contributing 34938 wu's, and we had a strong 24 hour period with 26 members contributing 6262 wu's.
